"Petitions" to secede from California
On January 6 2016 SOJ proponents presented 15 secession "petitions" to the State Senate, with the widely publicized claim that they contained "thousands" of signatures. Keep It California obtained copies and counted the signatures, coming up with the grand total of 63!
